Below are answers to the most common student registration questions—covering where to find step-by-step help, how to locate your Project ID, where to upload required project materials, which forms you may need based on division, and how to pay the registration fee.
Your project ID number is assigned to you once you have completed your registration. After registration is complete log back into your profile. You find your profile by clicking on your name located in the right-hand corner of the page. Choose Profile and then the Entry tab.
You upload your project documents on the Entry tab. There is a specified location to upload your project presentation slides, lab notebook pages (required at the elementary & junior divisions), summary video (optional for all), and simulation video (optional for all). The Quad Chart and any pictures you have can be uploaded in the images section. *Only senior division students need to upload materials.
Required forms are Division dependent. The only required form for the Elementary & Junior Division is the Grade 5-8 SRC Approval Form. All Senior division projects are required to submit Forms 1, 1A, 1B, and the Abstract. Other forms may be required based on your project. Continuation projects must submit Form 7, and projects conducted in a Regulated Research Institution must submit form 1C.
There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee for all students. Payment can be made via credit card through the registration platform (ZFairs), check, or school purchase order.
