It’s the CaveScape you loved this summer now featuring live cave-dwelling animals with the addition of Hidden Habitats: Life in the Caves! It’s two exhibitions in one featuring an immersive network of twisting tunnels and hidden caves, where you can crawl, climb, and slide through incredible structures crafted entirely from ordinary packing tape—yet strong enough for both kids and adults. Along the way, discover how engineering, physics, and creativity come together to transform a simple material into an extraordinary underground adventure highlighting real cave science.
As your journey continues, step into Hidden Habitats: Life in the Caves and uncover the thriving ecosystems found in some of the world's most mysterious environments. Encounter live Egyptian fruit bats, chinchillas, a monitor lizard, a red-tailed green rat snake, tailless whip scorpions, vinegaroons, and geckos, and learn how each species survives and flourishes in this hidden world.
Blending active play with hands-on discovery, CaveScape is more than an exhibition—it's an unforgettable adventure that reveals the science, engineering, and natural wonders waiting to be explored beneath the surface.

CaveScape contains climbable elements. If you choose to participate in the climbing areas of the exhibition, please wear or bring socks as they are required in specific sections of the exhibition.
