Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders
The Teen Advisory Board works closely with Arizona Science Center leadership and local community organizations to develop, test and implement forward-thinking, future-focused content, programs and exhibits. Thanks to this group of young scientists, we can evolve our programming to engage this generation of students—and those to come.
For teens, participation in the Teen Advisory Board offers opportunities for honing critical thinking skills, fostering collaboration, learning about STEM, interacting with hands-on activities, developing personal growth and connecting with professionals in STEM fields.
Since 2017, the Teen Advisory Board has created deeper engagement with STEM learning opportunities for more than 4,283 Arizona teenagers.
The Teen Advisory Board is a yearlong commitment beginning in July. Board meetings occur on the 2nd or 3rd Saturday of the month, with sub-committee meetings taking place as needed. Teens between the ages of 15-17 are eligible to join.
