Building the Next Generation of Engineers: Girls in STEM Returns with Blueprint Builders

 

Young Innovators Spend the Day at Arizona Science Center Designing, Testing and Constructing Structures While Exploring the Creativity and Science Behind the Built World

 

PHOENIX – Step into the world of engineering at Arizona Science Center’s next Girls in STEM event—Blueprint Builders. Girls can explore all things construction, creativity, problem-solving, and innovation as they get hands-on with designing, building, and testing their own structures. Jr. Scientists will spend the day learning how ideas turn into the buildings that shape our world! This event is generously supported by Sundt.

DETAILS:

  • Participants are invited to dig into a full day of construction-themed exploration—perfect for Jr. Scientists in grades 4–8.
  • Design, build and test structures while discovering how engineers bring ideas to life using creativity and problem-solving.
  • Explore the engineering design process as you tackle exciting construction challenges and learn what makes buildings strong, stable and safe.
  • Investigate the science behind bridges, buildings and other structures that shape the world around us!
